Kelburn Property Clearance Ltd was founded by Jo and Darren, who shared a simple idea — to build a family-run business that makes a real difference for people during life’s transitions.

Together, they combined their experience, community values, and care for others to create a service built on trust, reliability, and compassion. From the very beginning, Jo’s sons, Jack and Tom, and Darren’s children, Tyler and Caytlin, have supported the business and continue to play an important part in helping it grow.

As a family, we’re proud to support other families, landlords, and local businesses through what can sometimes be emotional or challenging clearances. We understand the importance of sensitivity and respect, and we always go the extra mile to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

No — we can sort, clear and remove on your behalf. Simply set aside any items you definitely want to keep and tell our team when we arrive.

We can remove electric ovens as standard. Gas ovens can be removed at additional cost, subject to a suitable engineer’s availability—no guarantee is given.

Yes. We regularly work with executors, probate solicitors and estate managers. We can provide inventories, photographs and disposal records on request to support the probate process.

We cannot remove hazardous materials such as asbestos, certain pesticides, or large quantities of liquids/chemicals. We also avoid specialist items like medical waste — we will advise and help arrange safe disposal where needed.

Every job is quoted individually based on property size, items, and access. All pricing is clear and upfront—no hidden charges. Note: A site visit is required before a formal quotation can be provided.

Small properties or single rooms are usually cleared in a few hours. A full house typically takes one to two days depending on size and access. We'll give a realistic timescale when we quote.

We prioritise reuse and recycling. Items suitable for donation are taken to charities; recyclable materials are processed at licensed facilities; and only genuinely unusable items are sent to landfill. We can provide a basic waste transfer note on request.
